It turned out to be the year alright, but not the way I orginally expected.
I entered the year at my corporate career with a newly earned promotion, one that I believed would create the life I truly wanted. I was ecstatic and looking forward to an amazing 2013! But only a few months later I learned that wasn't my realty.
Because I was working nearly 60 hours most weeks, I completely lost all sense of my true self. My husband and I became roommates during the week, my children stopped laughing when I walked through the door and my personal health suffered as I becasme sleep deprived and overly stressed. I allowed work to take priority over everything else in my life and I eventually became completely unhappy, unhealthy and unbalanced. After 13 months into my promotion, I was desperate to make a change. But I believe the only way to may that change was to quit my career.
Through implementing new, yet simple practices, I discovered my purpose and how to live a happy, healthy and balanced life. And now, I have the opportunity as a Certified Professional Success Coach, speaker, trainer, and author to follow my passion to inspire and support high-performing women.
In my personal life, I've regained control of my health, my husband and I have reconnected on an even deeper level and now I laugh with my children.
Today I'm on a mission to share with women, like you, what I've already learned. To let you know that you don't have to continue with the life you're living.
